With over 20 years of success, we have developed a unique and contemporary Japanese dining restaurant. Ichiban Sushi House concept offers comfortable and familiar dining atmosphere with the whole look of nature.

The key to Ichiban Sushi House’s success is its people. We place a special emphasis on establishing a team of highly qualified experts who provide the services to build and operate a successful business. From the site selection to operations support, our management team will work with you to succeed

Site Selection
We evaluate potential restaurant sites based on proven selection criteria such as traffic counts, trade area analysis, demographic studies, visibility, ingress and egress considerations and assessment of local competition. We co-ordinate all real estate acquisition and/or lease negotiations.

Design and Development
Our development team will prepare layouts and specifications, complete with detailed interior and exterior designs, and building plans for your restaurant. The plans will be customized as necessary for your restaurant location to incorporate the developer's design criteria and regional geographic styles. We offers professional supervision of all construction, placement and installation of purchased and leased equipment and fixtures, as well as an appropriate interior décor package.

Training
We provide intensive operational and administrative training programs for all franchisees and senior level restaurant managers. These may take the form of on-the-job training, classroom training programs or a combination of both. As well, our field office staff conducts training and motivational activities for all staff members prior to the restaurant opening.

Onsite Assistance
Ichiban Sushi House Restaurants will supervise all opening activities including co-ordination with suppliers. We also provide the organization of public relations and a Grand Opening Promotion Package.

Operations Support
A comprehensive, continually updated Confidential Operations Manual forms the heart of each Ichiban Sushi House Restaurants' franchise system. All management functions are periodically analysed, and revised as necessary.

Ichiban Sushi House Restaurant schedules periodic visits and counselling by experienced operations field staff who will liaise with franchisees or designated members of restaurant management on operational and promotional matters. All franchisees gather together for periodic meetings to discuss new programs, exchange ideas on policies, procedures and operational techniques, and to communicate with senior management of Prime Restaurants. These conferences also provide an opportunity to socialize with other Prime Restaurants' franchisees and staff.

Research and Quality Control
We conduct research and development of food, beverages, equipment and entertainment. We monitor industry trends to stay ahead of the competition. Frequent consultations between franchisees and our field staff are conducted to ensure brand continuity and a consistently high level of quality throughout the system.

Advertising and Marketing
Professional advertising materials, including ad mats, point-of-purchase materials, radio commercials, TV commercials and outdoor advertising layouts are developed, tested, produced and supplied to franchisees by our national advertising agency. Through our agency we also analyse and prepare comprehensive media advertising plans, which ensure that budgets are spent efficiently. As well, we arrange effective promotions and public relations activities on both local and regional levels.

Purchasing and Distribution
Centralized purchasing and distribution ensures the highest levels of quality with the best possible value. National and regional contracts are negotiated when possible to ensure not only tangible savings for our franchisees but also to minimize diversionary time dealing with local sales representatives. Chain-wide distribution and purchasing programs give each franchisee the advantages of being part of a large, effective buying organization while managing his/her individual restaurant as an entrepreneur.

    Initial Fee and Royalty
  • Initial Fee: $25,000
  • Initial Training Fee: $5,000
  • Continuing Royalty: 6% on all Gross Sales


  • Required investment
    In order to become a part of the Ichiban Sushi House franchise team, prospective franchisees pay an Initial Fee/Training Fee and a total start up cost of between $200,000 and $800,000, depending on the size of the restaurant and its location.
